The award-winning Cottar’s 1920s Safari Camp and private Bush Villa are located in the famous ‘seventh’ natural wonder of the world, the Masai Mara in Kenya. Offering a bespoke safari experience, it’s owned and managed by the oldest established and continuing safari family in Africa.

1920s Safari Camp joined The Long Run in 2012 and committed to a holistic balance of the 4Cs – Conservation, Community, Culture and Commerce – as a means to contribute meaningfully to the biodiversity and the people of the local region. It was awarded GER® recognition in 2015.

Cottar's 1920s Camp:
Initiated the establishment of the 7,608 acre Olderkesi Conservancy which is a key wildebeest migratory corridor that borders the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya.
It is owned and managed by the 5th generation of the Cottar family; Cottar's Safari Service has provided bespoke safari experiences for over 100 years.
